Sole

SPYNFLEX®

The sole is molded in one piece from a proprietary composite polyurethane, with two pivot discs and graded texture across the tread.

Pivot discs

Two of them, one under the ball of your foot and one under the heel. Each has a smooth center ringed by texture bands, so a turn releases cleanly from the point you actually turn on. The rear disc sits inside a reinforced, shock absorbing heel that takes the load out of a landing.

Texture zones

Smooth at the disc centers, more textured toward the edge. The sole lets go when you spin and holds when you step.

One piece, composite PU

Molded as a single piece from our own polyurethane compound, balanced to stay responsive underfoot without going hard. Low profile, and it flexes where your foot flexes.

Upper

AIRDANCE+®

Every part of the upper is there to hold your foot while it moves: the material it is made from, the way the panels are shaped, and the stitching that joins them.

The material

Premium microfiber on Flow 2 and Nova, tumbled and smooth grained. Light on the foot, breathable, and built to keep its shape through repeat wear.

Panels and seams

The panels are shaped to hug the foot, which is where the glove-like feel comes from and what keeps you stable when you change direction. Strobel stitching joins the upper to a flexible base, so the shoe bends with your foot instead of resisting it.

Volt carries premium cotton canvas instead, the most breathable upper in the range, stitched the same way.

GROOVECLOUD®

Two densities, chosen so the insole can be soft underfoot and still keep its shape. It lifts out, so you can fit your own orthotics.

The knit face

A knit face over memory foam that shapes to your foot as it warms up. That is where the molded feel comes from.

Two densities

A firmer foam underneath absorbs the impact of a landing and stops you bottoming out, so there is still something to push against on the last song.

How it holds up

Plush is easy. Plush that still supports you after three hours is the harder thing, and that is what the second density is for.

ORTHOFLOW®

A thinner, open-cell insole for dancers who want the floor closer. It lifts out, so you can fit your own orthotics.

Air moves through the foam rather than sitting under your foot, and the foam still absorbs the shock of a landing.

Arch and heel
