Our Purpose
We created Pulse Dance Shoes to offer a dance shoe that blends performance with timeless style and comfort. A sneaker that transitions seamlessly from the studio to the street, giving dancers versatility without compromise.
Our Design Approach
Designing Pulse Dance Sneakers meant solving a challenge: creating a sneaker that feels as natural and responsive as a traditional dance shoe while maintaining the comfort, durability and versatility of a sneaker.
The Strobel construction, a technique used in high-performance athletic shoes, was key to achieving this. By hand stitching the upper directly to the insole, we created a lightweight and responsive base that moves with the foot. This method enhances durability while allowing for natural articulation dancers need, ensuring the shoe bends and flexes through every step, spin, and transition.
Advanced Dance-Engineered Sole – A smooth, all-surface sole with pivot points enhanced controlled movement. The honeycomb pattern with a 12mm heel toe drop offers increased flexibility, lightness, and floor feel. The smooth dance engineered sole strikes the perfect balance of grip and glide to execute turns and spins both indoors and out.
Premium Microfibre – Chosen for breathability, lightness, and durability. Our lightweight premium microfibre is easy to clean and reinforced with double stitching, not just for longevity but to help contain foot movement and prevent slipping. An added feature is that these shoes are 100% Vegan.
Strobel Construction – A flexible, responsive build that moves naturally with the foot while maintaining structure and support. Reduces stiffness for a glove-like fit, allowing the shoe to adapt and flow effortlessly with every movement.
