How to Clean Your Dance Sneakers

How to Clean Your Dance Sneakers

We know how real it gets on the dance floor, whether you're spinning through salsa, gliding through bachata, two-stepping in line dancing, swinging it out with style, or throwing down some shuffle footwork. Dance shoes take a beating, and keeping them fresh doesn't just make them look better, it keeps them performing at their best.

Upper (Premium Microfiber)

Our uppers are made from high-quality microfiber, chosen for its soft feel, lightweight comfort, and durability.

To clean:

  • Use a damp microfiber cloth and gently wipe in circular motions to lift dirt and sweat.
  • For stubborn marks like scuffs from the studio or street, apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover using a soft cloth. No soaking, just a light touch.

Dance Engineered Soles

You’ll notice the sole combines treated smooth zones with subtle indents for grip, plus two spin spots built into the forefoot. These features work together to give you sneaker-level comfort with real dance performance. They’re designed to help you move with control and spin easier compared to regular sneakers. Perfect for salsa shines, bachata turns, line dancing twists, and swing footwork.

To clean:

  • Wipe with a soft cloth or toothbrush and warm soapy water to remove dust, dirt, and build-up.
  • For tougher spots, a magic eraser can help. Avoid anything too abrasive.
  • Let them dry fully before your next class or comp.

They’ll last longer and perform better with a little regular TLC.
